I’m Jeni Mose, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, Emergency Responder and Public Safety Certified Clinician, Nationally Certified Counselor, and EMDR trained via EMDRIA. I believe bringing one’s unique, honest self to the therapeutic relationship is imperative as I provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment in an attempt to aid clients to thrive in life. My knowledge, understanding, humor, and authenticity offer a collaborative, yet individual approach to reaching the most beneficial solutions for clients’ principal concerns.  Through empowerment and support, I strive to help my clients love themselves for who they are while also addressing presenting and underlying problems. 

At the foundation of my therapeutic approach, I first pursue a client-centered approach to help you hone in on and improve your strengths as you are the experts in your lives. I also utilize EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to challenge possible self-sabotaging and irrational beliefs, increase responsibility for choices, and learn to self-soothe and regulate mood.

When I’m not at the office, I spend time with my immediate family (my son, husband, and three pups) and close friends. I love the outdoors and nature, including playing/coaching my son in a variety of sports, going to the beach, and unplugging by taking mini trips. Time does not always permit me, but yoga and painting help regulate my mood by centering/grounding me. Napping, reading, desserts, and coffee are my true weaknesses.
