I’m Sarah Mitchell, a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping individuals navigate their unique journeys using trauma informed care as they head toward healing and self-discovery. With specialized training in trauma therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), I am dedicated to supporting those who have experienced trauma, addiction, and PTSD/complex PTSD.

Throughout my practice, I have also focused on helping clients address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and motivation challenges. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual is unique and deserving of a tailored therapeutic experience. As a mother and wife, I understand the complexities of life and the struggles that can come with it. My own personal experiences have shaped my empathetic approach, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level. I recognize how difficult it can be to seek help, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can embrace your vulnerability and work towards growth. In addition to my professional training, I find great benefit in grounding techniques and practices such as hot yoga. I’m passionate about teaching my clients these skills, helping them to cultivate their own tools for grounding and self-awareness in everyday life. I truly love working with people and am committed to meeting you where you are on your path to healing. Together, we can explore the challenges you face and develop strategies to help you thrive. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.
